The Adventures of Dennis by Victor Dragunsky translated by Fainna Glagoleva

                                                                              (I don't own these pictures)

Somebody is Feeling very lucky, been able to read this book (guess what that somebody is me O:) ). I am a big, A HUGE as huge can be a fan of children's books. I found this book when one of my colleague's reading it in the office. (I know it's not a good habit :-|) Thankful to that not so good habit I found this treasure.

You have to trust me when I say this book is almost wonderful as Roald Dahl's books (my favorites!) or like any other soviet books or as much as any other children books.

"The Adventures of Dennis" published by Progress Publishers in Moscow in 1981. This book is about a Seven-and-a-half year old boy. And please don't get confused with "Dennis the menace" This is not about about a kid who troubles his neighbors, but a boy with a 7 1/2 year old's thoughts, troubles, intelligence and playfulness.(Don't get me wrong, Dennis the menace also interesting)

This is a book, the kind of you should grow up with. My mother used to buy us all these lovely books(but we couldn't find this one in the old shelves). Soviet Translations! She is a rock. I'm ever so in debt to her.

If you haven't read this yet, I think you should get a copy now. For the e-reader's I can suggest this link "The "Adventures of Dennis". I hope you'll find it interesting as I did.

Have a happy time reading!

Jogging at Independence Square

I went to a run course with my husband and his friends at Independence Square Jogging Track. We normally go for jogs 3 or 2day per week. It is so much fun to run. Crabs! I was just kidding :D It pains you to run 3.4 to 3.6 miles after hectic work n gym schedule. But it feels good after reaching your goal, even though your smelly with sweat :) I eat like a pig. So god only knows how many miles I should run to shed all the fat in the belly :-|

This place looks really nice in the evening. With lights are on and the music of water fountains, murmurs and chattering in distance. Even without good music you can run along with the beats of voices. Truth to be told I really enjoy running without a playback song. But it doesn't mean I do it all the time.

If you are looking for a place to be Keeping fit without spending much money, this is your ideal place. You can jog anytime during the day (I guess) though we do it mostly late evenings.
So have fun keeping fit.
 Bye for now

What a wonderful world

Hi everyone,

Feeling awesome, 'cause I accidentally found my long lost, once upon a time created blog! "Harry(Me) from the block. Then I thought "OK I found it........ But.... What the hell I'm going to write in it? The thing is I'm really slow and my brain works the other way around sometimes.

Then comes the best part. Though I'm slow I sometimes have really fantastic ideas (at least I think that I do have) So I thought I'll use it to share the books I read, which I think not famously famous or a place I visit or a shop or about an event going to place or I participated! I know its kind of crazy n nobody will follow me, never! But still it's worth trying n though I really can't write I love to do.

So ignore my blog those who hates it from now on. Do not comment harshly, if you do not like whatever I posted here. cause it'll break my heart :( Because can't you seeeeeee I'm trying here to make something out of some empty space. Maurice Switzer once told “It is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt of it :-| But still........ You cannot stop trying.

Bye for Now!
Hoping to keep posting you some happening stuff in my side of the world!
Have a colorful day!
